I believe children should be encouraged to think for themselves and that self-confidence be fostered whenever possible because believing you can do something is the first step to achieving your goals.
A classroom should be a place where children not only have a strong sense of belonging but to also be a place where they feel happy and safe to think for themselves, ask questions when they need to and not be afraid to try something new. I hope to foster self-confidence whenever possible because believing you can do something is the first step to achieving it and I hope when children leave my class, they feel ready to take on all the challenges ahead of them.
